Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed once:

• The proposal has been accepted in writing, or
• The required deposit has been received.

Dates are reserved exclusively upon confirmation. Until then, availability cannot be guaranteed.

2. Payment Terms

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date.
• The remaining balance is due prior to the wedding date, as outlined in your proposal.
• Payments are made via the agreed payment method stated in your proposal.
• Failure to complete payment may result in delayed delivery or cancellation of services.

3. Creative Approach & Coverage

• Jeff Owusu Studios works with a film-first, story-driven approach.
• Coverage is guided by the natural flow of your celebration rather than a fixed shot list.
• While every effort is made to capture meaningful moments, specific shots or events cannot be guaranteed.
• Creative decisions regarding filming, editing, music selection, and storytelling remain at the discretion of Jeff Owusu Studios.
• Photography, when added, is treated as a complement to the film and captured under the same creative direction.

4. Delivery

• Estimated delivery timelines are provided as guidance and may vary depending on the scope of the project and season.
• One round of reasonable feedback is included unless stated otherwise in your proposal.
• Additional revisions may incur extra fees.
• Final delivery is made digitally unless otherwise agreed.

5. Cancellations & Changes

• The deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the client.
• If the event is postponed, the deposit may be transferred to a new date, subject to availability.
• In the unlikely event that Jeff Owusu Studios is unable to perform due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond control, a suitable replacement filmmaker may be arranged, or all payments will be refunded up to the amount paid.

6. Force Majeure

Jeff Owusu Studios is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.

7. Copyright & Usage

• All creative content remains the intellectual property of Jeff Owusu Studios.
• Upon full payment, clients receive a personal-use license for their delivered films and photographs.
• Jeff Owusu Studios retains the right to use selected content for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

• Personal data is handled with care and used solely for communication, service delivery, and legal obligations.
• Client information will never be sold or shared with third parties without consent.

9. Liability

Any liability is limited to the total amount paid for the services. Jeff Owusu Studios cannot be held responsible for indirect or consequential loss.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands.
